Window Pocket Repair Warranty Terms

 

This warranty applies only to window pocket repairs performed by Suburban Basement Waterproofing and is in addition to any statutory warranties that may apply.

By accepting the service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this warranty along with our statutory warranty terms.

 

Warranty Duration: Lifetime transferable.

Warranty Coverage:

 

 

Suburban Basement Waterproofing warrants the quality of our window pocket repairs. If your repaired window pocket leaks due to faulty materials or workmanship, we’ll fix it at no additional cost. This warranty applies in addition to any statutory warranties that may apply.

Warranty Exclusions:

 

 

This warranty does not extend to or cover any other components associated with the window including pre-existing or subsequent defects to and around the window.

 

Specifically, the warranty does not apply to:

 

  • The window itself
  • The window sill
  • Mortar around the window
  • Window vent
  • Joints in glass block windows

Warranty Limitations:

 

Suburban Basement Waterproofing is not responsible for any defects, damage, or leaks that may occur in the above-excluded areas. 

 

The warranty is void if any alterations, repairs, or modifications are made to the window pocket or surrounding areas by anyone other than Suburban Basement Waterproofing. 

 

Suburban Basement Waterproofing does not cover costs of damages or drywall removal associated with this warranty.

Warranty Claim: Submitting and Process

 

 

How to File a Warranty Claim:

 

Before submitting a claim, please follow these steps to ensure your window pocket is functioning properly:

 

  • Close window vents securely.
  • Inspect the exterior window for cracks or gaps in the mortar.
  • Conduct a water test by running a hose near the window for 30 minutes.
 

If water appears on top of our repair, the leak likely originates elsewhere. If water appears under our repair and travels down the wall, submit a warranty claim with the requested information.

 

To submit a claim, email the following to wa******@su**************.com :

 

  • A copy of your invoice, receipt, or proof of service.
  • A detailed description of the problem.
  • Pictures of the affected area.
 

We may request additional information, pictures or water tests. Our technicians will guide you through this process.

Dispute Resolution: Suburban Basement is committed to resolving any concerns you might have regarding our services. We encourage you to contact us directly to discuss any issues. In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation before resorting to litigation. This General Liability statement is subject to change. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for any updates.
