Certifications & Coverage

  • Insurance: Suburban Basement Waterproofing maintains insurance; however, homeowners are responsible for securing personal property.

This Liability statement does not supersede any specific terms and conditions outlined for individual services offered by Suburban Basement.

Suburban Basement is not liable for elements beyond our control, including, but not limited to:

 

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Unforeseen conditions (e.g., hidden structural issues, unknown utilities)
  • Acts of God (e.g., floods, earthquakes)
  • Alterations to our work performed by anyone other than a Suburban Basement Technician voids Suburban Basement’s liability.
  • Damage caused by environmental factors accumulating over time (e.g., iron deposits, root intrusion).

Scope of Services
  • Our services are offered with the understanding that Suburban Basement is a contractor, not a manufacturer or designer. We utilize industry-standard materials and practices to complete the agreed-upon services.

Invoicing, Payments & Fees

Finance Option
Suburban Basement provides access to financing options through third-party lenders for our customers seeking financial assistance for our services. For inquiries about financing options, please contact us.
 
 Suburban Basement is not a lender and does not make any lending decisions. We act only as a facilitator, connecting you with potential lenders who may offer financing for your project. We do not guarantee loan approval, interest rates, loan terms, or any other aspects of the financing process.
 
 Financing options presented to you are offered by independent lenders. All communications regarding applications, approvals, and loan servicing matters will need to be discussed directly with the chosen financial institution.
 
Your Responsibilities and Disclaimer of Liability
 
Suburban Basement is not a lender and does not make any lending decisions. It is your sole responsibility to research and understand the terms and conditions of any loan offered by a lender. We strongly recommend you carefully review the terms and conditions of each lender’s loan agreement before signing any documents. We encourage you to consult with a financial advisor to ensure the loan terms are suitable for your specific needs.
 
It is your sole responsibility to use your own judgment to evaluate the suitability of any loan offered by a lender.
 
Suburban Basement makes no representations about the qualifications of any lender, the interest rates, or the loan terms offered by any lender. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided by any of the lenders involved in the application process.
Deposits
  • Required for larger jobs, material orders, and scheduling holds.
  • Deposit amount determined on a case-by-case basis and will be noted in the estimate.
  • Deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
Invoices
  • Invoices are issued on the date of service, unless otherwise noted.
  • Invoice details include, date of service, a list of service repair line items associated costs and some key warranty details. 
  • A receipt will be issued once payment is recorded, please allow 24 business hours for processing.
  • To request a copy of your invoice please submit your request to [email protected]. Administrative fees may apply for multiple copy requests.
  • Repairs associated with unpaid invoices will forfeit warranty coverage.
Payments

Suburban Basement provides the following payment options:

 

    • Cash & Check payments must be facilitated on site after repair completion. In the case that the responsible party is not present prior arrangements must be made.
    • Credit Card (2.99% surcharge applies). Credit cards are processed with a 2.99% surcharge, Any payments, deposits made with credit cards should notify the office first. If for whatever reason someone is able to make a credit card payment online and the surcharge is not applied, it will be billed to you.
    • ACH (Automated Clearing House) (1% surcharge applies) same rules as credit card except that the surcharge is 1%
    • Finance options available upon request
Fees

To ensure we can continue to provide exceptional service, we’ve implemented the following fees

  • Administrative Fees: May apply for additional copies of invoices, receipts, or estimates. Fees will be calculated based on the administrative costs incurred.
  • Inspection Fees: Applicable for property assessments when the requestor is not the homeowner. Fees will be determined based on the scope of the inspection.
  • Service Fees: May apply for warranty claims that are not covered or related to the original service. Fees will be calculated based on the specific circumstances.
  • Breach of Contract Fees: Incurred for contract violations. Fees will be calculated based on the associated costs, including administrative expenses, lost opportunities, and material/labor expenses.
  • Diagnostic Fees: Applied when a warranty claim results in a service call, and it is determined that the claim is either voided or not related to the original service. Fees will be calculated based on the diagnostic efforts required.

  • Informed Consent for services.
