Window Pockets are the “pockets” created during construction that supports the placement of the Window. In Basement Waterproofing and Repair we sometimes see that these Pockets break down over time which can allow water into your Basement.

You can see the signs of this deterioration, which show as Water Stains running down the wall underneath the Window. Another sign that you may want your Window Pockets checked are horizontal cracks that start at the corner of the Window Pocket.

Our team Repairs Leaking Window Pockets by removing any compromised cement from around the Pocket. We then repair and re-cement the area beneath the window. A polyurethane sealant is placed over the repaired area to further prevent Window Pocket Leaks.
